EDUARD T. ORTEGA

Chief Executive Officer

Eduard T. Ortega graduated his degree in Accountancy at De La Salle Lipa and passed his CPA board examination on October 2015. He was a maintenance assistant scholar during his college years and an Assistant Vice President for Internal Affairs of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – De La Salle Lipa Chapter in his 4th year in college. He graduated his high school at Bayorbor National High School with honors and elementary at Paaralang Sentral ng Mataasnakahoy.

Mr. Ortega is a CPA – CMA practitioner with a total of 7 years of experience in the field of audit and accounting.

Eduard Ortega, CPA, CMA

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ortega is a CPA – CMA practitioner with a total of eight years of experience in the field of audit and accounting. Mr. Ortega has previously worked as an Associate Auditor in one of the biggest auditing firms in the Philippines. After working for 1 and half year in the firm, he was promoted as Senior Audit Associate. He has extensive audit experiences in financial audits and due diligence of hotels, real estates, malls, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and holding companies. He has experience in audit of both local and international companies with knowledge in PAS, PFRS, GAAS, PAAS, IFRS and US GAAP.

Mr. Ortega has previously worked as an Associate Auditor in one of the biggest auditing firms in the Philippines. Afterwards, he decided to join an accounting outsourcing company in Makati City and supports US based auditing firm in performing assurance and non-assurance services to US clients. He leads the California Region in audit support services and awarded “Caught in the Act Award” by the US audit firm.

Currently, Mr. Ortega is one of the Senior Founding Partners of LGA & Co, an auditing firm based in Lipa City and handling transaction advisory services and the Chief Executive Officer of Remotely Philippines, an accounting outsourcing firm in the Philippines that provide accounting and auditing services globally..

Mr. Ortega is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Lipa Chapter. He is a Certified Management Accountant and member of Institute of Certified Management Accountants. He is also a member of the National Institute of Accounting Technicians.

Ednalyn Atienza-Ortega, CPA

Corporate Treasurer/Senior Director for Operations

Ednalyn Atienza-Ortega obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy with Academic Distinction in De La Salle Lipa, Philippines and passed the licensure examination for Certified Public Accountant on October 2015.

Ednalyn began her career as a CPA in one of the biggest professional service firms in the country. She started her professional experience as a tax and accounting associate where she handles accounting compliance and reporting, business tax compliance advisory, tax audit support, tax test of controls, tax due diligence review, tax compliance review and outsourcing in the manufacturing, trading, services and business process outsourcing industries, among others.

After more than two years in a Big 4 firm, she became part of the country's major corrugated box producers as an Accounting Supervisor where she has instilled a profound knowledge and experience on streamlining processes for improved efficiency, developing pricing strategies, completing and reviewing financial reports and improving cash flow from working capital via operational improvement.

After more than a year, she decided to do business where she saw the potential of the accounting and outsourcing firms in the country where she can also help her fellow Filipinos to find flexibility and work life balance while delivering exceptional services. Currently, she is one of the Senior Partners of Laco Garachico Alday & Co., a local audit and tax firm in the Philippines and Senior Director for Operation of Remotely Philippines handling transaction advisory services. Her client experiences include, but are not limited to, bookkeeping, general accounting, financial statement preparation, technical memo consultation, AP and AR processing, Budgeting, Forecasting, Dashboard reporting, advisory and consultation, compilation, financial planning and analysis, and CFO support services.

For Ednalyn, working at Remotely Philippines is her greatest passion and purpose. She loves working with international clients where there is no limit on opportunities and exposure in the accounting profession and sharing this passion to her fellow Filipinos.
